Beef wins PGA Tour Card

Let the American adventure begin….

'Beef' earned his PGA Tour card on Sunday, shooting a three under par 68 at the Web.com Tour Boise Open to finish in fourth place and take the prize.

"Very happy to come over and get what I was trying to do," said Johnston. "It's big. I tried my best and that's what I did."

It’s been a tremendous year for ‘Beef’. He secured his first European Tour win at the Spanish Open in April, which he then celebrated in style for a good week.

An eighth at The Open has also helped propel him up the world rankings from 220th last year to 80th before this week. And let’s not forget his new sponsorship deal with Arby’s!

So it looks like we are going to have to be sharing ‘Beef’ with our American cousins. Don’t be a stranger now you hear.
