85th Sunningdale Foursomes announced

Entries for the 2019 Sunningdale Foursomes are now open.

2019 marks the 85th Anniversary of the Sunningdale Foursomes which was first played in 1934. This Annual Tournament is open to all golfers and will be held on Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th and Friday 15th March 2019.

Sunningdale Foursomes Special Handicap

All Professional Golfers (Men) will play from a handicap of +1.

All Amateurs (Men) will play from a handicap of scratch.

All Professional Golfers (Ladies) will play from a handicap of 2.

All Amateurs (Ladies) will play from a handicap of 4.

Terms of Competition

Amateurs (Men) limited to handicap 3 under the CONGU® Unified Handicapping System.

Amateurs (Ladies) limited to handicap 3 under the CONGU® Unified Handicapping System.

Any combination of partnership may enter and the matches will be played under FULL DIFFERENCE of the Sunningdale Foursomes Special Handicap.

All matches to be played to a finish and if extra holes are played,strokes will be conceded at the same holes as in the first round.

Entry Fee - £210.00 per pair

Entries will close on Friday, 11th January 2019 and are made online through GolfBox.

Entry is limited to 128 pairs.

Each year the Tournament has been over-subscribed and a significant number of entries cannot be accommodated. In order that your entry is given consideration, you are asked to list any relevant information about your recent golfing achievements. (e.g. County Champion, P.G.A. Events, best previous performance in the Sunningdale Foursomes.)
