Mike Tindall MBE, Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy confirmed for Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship

Yet more celebrity names have been announced for this year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, with former England rugby captain Mike Tindall MBE, and Irish boyband stars Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden set to grace the Cromwell Course again this year.

The trio all appeared at the event last year and will be joining fellow celebrities including former-Strictly Come Dancing judge, Len Goodman, legendary Arsenal and Wales striker, John Hartson, and ex-England international cricketer James Taylor.

Mike Tindall MBE is best known for being a member of England’s historic 2003 winning Rugby World Cup team, making 75 appearances for his country in a career that spanned 17 years. He also represented both Bath and Gloucester over 100 times.

Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden were part of two of the biggest boybands of their generation, Boyzone and Westlife, and have recently joined forces as Boyzlife, performing some of their bands’ greatest hits.

All three have been warming up for this year’s competition, by taking part in the star-studded BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am which also featured previous BP3 players, Robbie Fowler and Dan Walker.

Two-time Major winner and Europe’s most successful Ryder Cup captain, Tony Jacklin CBE, is back as tournament host and is delighted to see Mike, Keith and Brian returning to the Championship. He said: “Mike is one of the biggest stars in the world of sport, so it is great to see him back at this year’s event, last year was his debut at the BP3 so we are all looking forward to seeing him again. Keith and Brian are similarly as well-known in the entertainment industry. The pair are great fun and extremely talented players and I’m sure they’ll bring a fantastic atmosphere to the Championship.”
