Titleist’s new 818 hybrids

Begin Tour Validation process

At this week’s Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open and John Deere Classic, the pros will be getting their paws on Titleist’s new 818 hybrids for the first time as part of their tour validation process.

It was just two weeks ago Titleist introduced their prototype 718 irons, which instantly received rave reviews from the tour pros and are now in the bags of most Titleist brand ambassadors, so we can expect to see plenty of 818 hybrids in play this week.

Titleist's Tour Validation process is one of their most crucial checkpoints on the path to launch, and once a prototype has passed this vital test it is one step closer to receiving a final stamp of approval.
