KBS Shafts happy to play the numbers game

Living up to its slogan of ‘Player Driven, Tour Proven,’ KBS is happy to let its numbers do the talking. A growing number of leading players seek out the ‘Red Label’ as a stamp of quality and more than 200 Tour players compete with KBS golf shafts around the world.

These players – including five of the top 15 in the world – have a wide choice. The brand now offers 13 different iron shafts, four designated wedge shafts and two new hybrid options, all designed to fit the broadest range of golfers - from global stars to accomplished amateurs and even juniors.

Led by shaft guru Kim Braly, the brand has achieved 175 worldwide wins in less than a decade, including Major wins and an Olympic Gold medal from Rio in 2016.

Its latest release – the Tour Graphite Iron shaft (TGI) – is the first Graphite iron shaft designed by the brand and is the same bend profile as the pioneering KBS Tour steel shaft and performs like a steel equivalent. It features optimised weight and flex choices for all golfers to gain maximum playability and performance, producing a mid-high launch angle with low spin for ultimate control.

The TGI follows on from the brand’s first dip into the Graphite sector with its dedicated Tour Graphite Hybrid shaft, offering a mid-to-high trajectory, spin control and tight shot dispersion.

The perfect fit

To help the golfers fit into the perfect KBS shaft, the brand has launched an interactive online fitting system. After answering several questions about your handicap, ball trajectory, weight of clubs and swing speed, it then pairs you up with the KBS shaft to best support your game. This information can then be taken to a range or studio fitting making iron fitting an even easier process. To take the online fitting visit - http://kbsgolfshafts.com/fit-system/
